Now Hiring:
Therapist (Contract position)
You’re a therapist who’s smart, skilled, and deeply committed to the work- but you also have a rich life outside the therapy room. You’re seeking a community, not a corporation. A place to grow, not just grind. And a practice where you’re valued not only for your clinical expertise, but for your whole self.
Northlight Mental Health is a small, woman-led group practice serving clients across Minnesota through virtual therapy. We’re relational, trauma-informed, and values-driven. We believe clinicians do their best work when they’re respected, supported, and given space to thrive- both professionally and personally.
We accept both private pay and a variety of insurance payers.
80/20 rate split
100% scheduling autonomy. You decide when, how often, and how much you work
Mentorship & connection with other clinicians
Access to free continuing education credits and an emphasis on clinical development and evidence-based practice
A values-aligned, inclusive, and client-centered firm focusing more on the humanity of this important work than particular performance metrics or business goals.
You’re a fully licensed therapist in Minnesota (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, LP)
You have one or more clinical specialties — whether it’s trauma, grief, perinatal care, LGBTQ+ care, somatic work, or something else
You’re organized, self-directed, and take pride in your clinical work
You want to be part of a small, thoughtful team with a strong ethical foundation
You value mentorship and connection — not just a “job”
Care about equity and access in mental health
Enjoy sharing and discussing ideas, articles, and/or laughs with fellow clinicians
Have a robust life outside of work, and want to keep it that way
This isn’t a mass-recruitment situation. We’re looking for just the right fit — and we think you are, too.
