Marwa Almeala
Clinical Trainee
Accepting evening clients!
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and finding someone you feel comfortable talking to matters. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up as yourself and feel genuinely heard.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student at Capella University completing my clinical internship. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating:
relationship concerns,
communication difficulties,
family conflict,
life transitions,
stress, and
the ways past experiences can affect present relationships.
My approach is collaborative and compassionate, with an emphasis on understanding emotions, relationship patterns, and the stories we carry about ourselves and others. I am especially interested in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy and approach clients from a systemic perspective that considers relationships, family, culture, and lived experiences.
I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities, and family structures. I believe you are the expert on your own experiences, and my role is to walk alongside you as we work toward greater understanding, connection, and meaningful change.
Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Partners, Medicaid, UCare, and Cigna, She also accepts private pay and offers sliding-scale rates.
