I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care for individuals, adolescents, couples, and families. My approach to therapy is collaborative and relational, rooted in creating a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their personal growth and healing. With experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities—including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Solution-Focused Therapy, Structural Therapy, and Intergenerational Family Therapy—I strive to meet each client where they are and tailor the approach to fit their unique needs. I also bring a trauma-informed lens to my work and I am trained in Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET).
As an adoption-competent therapist, I specialize in working from an attachment-focused perspective, supporting clients in building secure connections. I have a strong passion for supporting individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, and helping people explore their identities, including gender and sexual orientation. My experience includes working with diverse populations, including, but not limited to, LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodiverse individuals, those facing chronic illness, and anyone navigating the complexities of family dynamics or life changes.
In my work with clients, I prioritize fostering a therapeutic relationship that is built on trust, collaboration, respect, and warmth. I believe in providing gentle encouragement for change, offering a balance of process-oriented and solution-focused strategies to help clients reach their personal goals. Clients can expect me to meet them with unconditional positive regard and a genuine desire to support their healing journey.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoors in nature, running, reading, and spending time with my beloved pets, two cats and a dog. If I weren’t a therapist, I’d likely be running a cat sanctuary, reading and writing books, or further exploring my passions for nature and physical activity.
If you’re ready to begin or continue your healing journey, I look forward to supporting you through every step of the process.
